Samsung recently released the One UI 5.0, and although it does not bring a huge visual revamp, there are a lot of cool features to look forward to. Here are eight of the coolest new features on One UI 5.0:

1  New Icons in Samsung Apps

The new One UI 5.0 comes with new icons for Samsung apps like the Phone app, Messages, My Files, Gallery, etc. The icons in the notifications are also bigger, which makes it easy to identify which app it is.

2  Support for Multiple User Accounts

One UI 5.0 now supports multiple user accounts, which is a huge relief for people who hated the fact that there was no support for it in previous versions. The new user accounts icon is available when you swipe down on the quick settings.

 3  Improved Wallpaper Theming

In One UI 5.0, you get more options for wallpaper theming, including a new basic colors tab that gives you a lot more options. Material utility now extends to more places, including the volume slider, header text, and pop-up menus.

 4  Improved Stack Widgets

The home screen in One UI 5.0 has improved stack widgets. You can drag and drop one widget to another to create a stacked widget, and you can long press on a widget to add more widgets.

 5  Intelligent Wi-Fi Options

One UI 5.0 has a new Intelligent Wi-Fi option, which brings all of these options, including a developer options page that can be enabled by tapping ten times. The developer options bring you various diagnostic tools, including info on your Wi-Fi network, nearby Wi-Fi networks, and how much the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are being utilized.

 6  Security and Privacy

The Biometrics and Security page has changed to Security and Privacy in One UI 5.0, and it is the one place to keep track of your phone's security updates and privacy issues. The page also has a privacy dashboard that shows you more info right on the home screen.

 7  Magnify Feature

One UI 5.0 has a new magnify feature in accessibility settings that uses the telephoto camera. You can choose between different color schemes, increase the brightness, and do a lot more.

 8  Set Languages per App

One UI 5.0 has a new Android 13 feature that allows you to set languages per app, not just for Google apps. You can set YouTube to say Hindi while using Google in Bengali and continue using the phone in English.

In addition to these features, the camera app has been updated with a lot of new features and changes. For example, if you're taking a photo that has text in it, you get an option that lets you extract text easily. The Samsung keyboard app also has an extract text option to copy text from images when you're texting.
